Andrew Anglin has Retained America’s #1 First Amendment Lawyer to Represent Him Against SPLC

I am happy to announce that I have retained Marc Randazza, the most well-known First Amendment lawyer in the country, to represent me against the SPLC, which is suing me for blogging.

A Las Vegas-based lawyer specializing in free-speech cases is representing the publisher of a leading neo-Nazi website who has been sued for orchestrating an anti-Semitic online trolling campaign against a Montana family.

Marc Randazza told The Associated Press on Friday that his law firm is defending The Daily Stormer’s founder, Andrew Anglin, against a federal lawsuit that real estate agent Tanya Gersh filed against him in April.

“Everybody deserves to have their constitutional rights defended,” Randazza said. “Nobody needs the First Amendment to protect Mr. Rogers. That’s not what it’s there for.”

The suit accuses Anglin of invading Gersh’s privacy, intentionally inflicting “emotional distress” and violating a Montana anti-intimidation law.

Randazza, who said Anglin never directly sent any messages to Gersh, argued the suit’s allegations “leave room for disagreement” over whether Anglin did anything wrong.

“If it’s unpopular and people want to shut it up, then we have represented them,” Randazza said.

The Daily Stormer used a crowdfunding website, WeSearchr, to raise more than $152,000 in donations from nearly 2,000 contributors to help pay for its legal expenses.

Randazza is the best there is.

He’s beaten Alan Dershowitz and J.J. Abrams.

He’s beaten a whole bunch of people. Read his Wikipedia page. It reads like Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Wikipedia page.

As our attorney, Mr. Randazza has asked that everyone leave the Gershes alone, as this case is no longer about the Gershes, it is about the First Amendment.

And I concur.

Nothing at all relating to Tanya Gersh matters in comparison to the importance of our First Amendment rights as Americans. Our right to free speech is our most sacred of rights. It is the only thing keeping us alive right now as a nation. You look at all they are doing to us right now, and just imagine what they would be able to do if we weren’t allowed to complain about it.

What’s more, America is bearing the torch for the entire world. Virtually every other country on the planet has laws regulating speech, so a shut down of our First Amendment means a shut down of freedom of speech on the entire internet.

More than simply not being about Tanya Gersh, this case is not about me. I now stand as a man totally unworthy of the task of protecting this sacred right given to us by God and enshrined in our Constitution by our Founding Fathers from those who seek to take this right away not only from me, but from all of us.

There was a time that whenever the issue of free speech was raised, any American would say: “I may not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.” Unfortunately, due to constant battering by the education system and the media, not every American believes that anymore. A group of predators, who wish to shut down speech that they disagree with, are moving in for the kill.

If this case is lost, it is only the beginning. As we have seen in Europe, the process of killing free speech is a slow, steady march, where first it is the most despised people in society who are targeted – the “Neo-Nazi White Supremacists” – and before you know it, you’re getting arrested for publicly reading a Winston Churchill speech or quoting the Bible.

We know for a fact where this goes, because we’ve watched it happen.

One thing is certain: once a government takes a freedom from you, they don’t ever give it back.

So, though this is going to get a lot of publicity, I am asking all of you, genuinely, that you don’t attempt to contact the Gershes during this process.

This has escalated from jokes on the internet to something which could potentially lead to a big step towards the hellish, Orwellian world that the enemies of freedom wish to bring down on this country.
