It’s unfortunate that we have these beanfolk sniping at our people from open windows, but I suppose the tacos and guacamole more than make up for such funny business.
A Yonkers man admitted in court to killing Timothy Conkling last March in Yonkers.
Heriberto Morales, 33, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon in Westchester County Court on Friday.
As part of his plea, Morales was promised a sentence of 19 years to life in state prison on the murder charge and 16 years to life on the weapons charge.
He’ll remain in custody while he waits for his sentencing, which is scheduled for June 14.
Conkling had been working in the area as an employee of a regional carting company when Morales shot him from an apartment window.
