Well. It looks like the worst of both world’s is true of the Bangkok bombing.
It is both a Moslem issue and a Chinese issue.
The Thai police said Wednesday that their main suspect in a deadly attack on a Bangkok shrine has a Chinese passport indicating he is from the far western Chinese region of Xinjiang, but that they had not yet verified whether the passport was authentic.
If confirmed, that information would strengthen the case made by some security analysts that the Aug. 17 bombing of the Erawan Shrine — which killed 20 people, including many ethnic Chinese tourists — was connected to the political grievances of Uighurs, a Turkic, mostly Muslim people. Uighurs in Xinjiang say they are oppressed by the ethnic Han, who dominate China.
More specifically, the involvement of a Xinjiang resident would buttress the argument, which has been widely repeated in the Thai news media, that the attack may have been revenge for Thailand’s repatriation to China of more than 100 Uighurs in July.
It has previously been reported that the man had fake Turkish passports.
Relations between Thailand and Moslems and Thailand and China are both presently rather strained.
So this really creates a mess.
And once again, we see that Moslems will blow up anything for any reason, or no reason.
Seems less like an “allahu ackbar” issue and more of a political issue from the sounds of the article itself.

These Chinese looking people are not Turkish, they’re Uighurs from China’s Silk road regions.
Why did they bombed Thailand?
Firstly, Thailand just recently caught a bunch of them and deported them back to China for execution. That alone had infuriated Turkey and their IS operations.
Another reason why Thailand is aimed is because its Muslem neighbours aren’t happy with their recent economic achievements. They’ve been attracting the world’s tourists to their country while their neighboring South East Asian countries(esepcially the Muslem ones) tourist market shares have been declining due to rising crimes.
