The future of our nation must rest on these brave souls.
The most basic principle of politics is that the best people must take the decisions for the rest of society. All political systems mainly differ in how they select who the “best” people are.
In aristocracy, rulers are selected based on their military prowess.
In fascism, rulers are selected based on a merit-based system.
In libertarianism, rulers are selected based on how good they are at managing businesses in a free market economy.
In democracy, rulers are selected by getting women, retards and convicted felons to vote in a popularity contest.
Most credible experts agree that democracy is the worst political system ever devised.
This has been known for thousands of years.
The state of Florida routinely violates the constitutional rights of its citizens by permanently revoking the “fundamental right” to vote for anyone convicted of a felony, a federal judge ruled Thursday.
If murderers, thieves and gang-bangers have a “fundamental right” to make major decisions affecting the destiny of the nation, then maybe it’s time to get rid of that retarded concept.
Besides, when did this even become a thing? Initially, only free, land-owning White males had a “right” to vote. I guess “fundamental rights” change according to the whims of federal judges.
Did the founding fathers give criminals a “fundamental right” to vote?
U.S. District Judge Mark Walker said the Florida “scheme” unfairly relies on the personal support of the governor for citizens to regain the right to vote. In a strongly-worded ruling, he called the state’s defense of voter disenfranchisement “nonsensical,” a withering criticism of Gov. Rick Scott, the lead defendant in the case.
It’s “nonsensical” to prevent felons from voting. This guy literally can’t make sense of this concept.
This is the caliber of human material that’s being promoted to be the arbiter of the law in this country.
The worst people in America are put in charge of our legal system.
“Florida strips the right to vote from every man and woman who commits a felony,” Walker wrote. “To vote again, disenfranchised citizens must kowtow before a panel of high-level government officials over which Florida’s governor has absolute veto authority. No standards guide the panel. Its members alone must be satisfied that these citizens deserve restoration … The question now is whether such a system passes constitutional muster. It does not.”
Stripping criminals of their right to vote is obviously a good thing, as is preventing the mentally ill or stupid people from doing the same.
The reason this is an issue, of course, is that criminals and stupid people tend to be Black, and they tend to vote Democrat.
And since the definition of democracy is “whatever is good for the Jews,” this is obviously very problematic.
Scott’s office issued a statement late Thursday, hinting at an appeal.
“The discretion of the clemency board over the restoration of felons’ rights in Florida has been in place for decades and overseen by multiple governors,” said a statement attributed to Scott’s communications director, John Tupps. “The process is outlined in Florida’s Constitution, and today’s ruling departs from precedent set by the United States Supreme Court.”
These federal courts are completely out of control. They’re transparently interfering with the country and the will of the people, ignoring the law, the constitution and common sense.
While it’s good that Trump is filling up the courts with conservative judges, the system where any random judge can override decisions made by the states or the President needs to be reformed urgently.
