Fleas, Cats and Witches Helped Create the Modern World

The Black Death is probably one of the most influential events in history both because of the disease itself and the superstitions that arose from it.

A lot of those superstitions are still around, such as the belief that black cats are bad luck.

That is of course ridiculous, how could something this adorable be bad luck?
