Mexico’s government on Wednesday slammed US presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s proposals to deport undocumented immigrants en masse and make Mexicans pay for a wall separating the two countries as absurd, racist and ignorant.
Launching his bid for the Republican presidential nomination in New York in June, Trump accused Mexico of sending “rapists and drug runners” across the United States’ southern border and pledged to build a wall to keep illegal immigrants out.
Over the weekend, Trump said he would increase fees on some Mexican visas and all border crossing cards as part of a broader plan to make Mexico pay for the barrier. He also said he would deport millions of undocumented migrants.
“We continue to stand by our position that these comments reflect prejudice, racism or plain ignorance,” Mexico’s foreign ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Anyone who understands the depth of the US-Mexico relationship realizes that those proposals are not only prejudiced and absurd, but would be detrimental to the well-being of both societies.”
I have a hard time seeing anywhere where our interests overlap, Mexico.

If one studies how mexicans deal with their immigrants from Guatemala one can get some good ideas of how americans should deal with mex immis.

not only should we build a wall but it should be manned by soldiers as well. personally I think the barrier between north and south korea is a perfect example of how we should implement this new wall preventing mexicunt scum from illegally invading – lay down some land mines, place a few machine gun nests, and set up a couple of missile batteries. with a shoot to kill policy I guarantee this problem will be solved.
Ideally a trench filled with venomous snakes would be incorporated.
How is shipping out illegals detrimental to the US? Illegal sweatshops make less money? Construction companies have to pay their employees? White women become safer?

Trumps proposal is less draconian than the policies already in place in Mexico concerning immigrants from Southern countries.

Unsurprisingly one of the top figures in the current Mexican government is some sort of Mexican with some Chinese ancestry- Miguel Angel Osorio Chung. This guy was one of the first to respond to Trump’s original words. Not long after that they were humiliated by the second escape of notorious drug lord “El Chapo” Guzman, a large blow to their already low popularity.
The funny thing is that the PRI has been considered as a deeply pragmatic party after going through decades of failed socialism courtesy of Obregon (later assassinated) and Calles (pro-Soviet Communist, Mexico was the first country to recognize the Soviet Union) and then switching to a fervently pro-IMF/open borders stance in the late 70’s or early 80’s (getting heavy financial assistance from the US as well, Zedillo was instrumental towards NAFTA, and had approached George Bush Sr. with the idea years before it was accepted).
