“Migrants” Dead in a Truck and in a Boat, Oh No!

I don’t like to see any living thing harmed unnecessarily, and I don’t celebrate needless death.

However, I’m not going to feel bad about this. These people are a threat to us, to our women, to our children, to our continued existence as a people.

Police arrested several people believed to be part of a human smuggling operation in connection with the deaths of 71 migrants who likely suffocated in a refrigerated truck found abandoned on Austria’s main highway, law enforcement officials said Friday.

Austrian police said three people had been arrested while their Hungarian counterparts said four were in detention. There was no immediate explanation for the discrepancy.

Methinks the term “Hungarian” is being used loosely here.

In Austria, officials said they are still investigating but believe the migrants suffocated. Investigators found a Syrian travel document, indicating that at least some of the dead were refugees fleeing violence in Syria, though it wasn’t clear if some were from elsewhere.

The 71 included eight women and four children, the youngest a girl between 1 and 2 years old, the others boys aged 8 to 10. Authorities initially estimated the death toll at 20 to 50, but raised it after towing the truck to a refrigerated warehouse and counting the partially decomposed bodies.

Wow so 12 of the 71 were women and children. That means only 83% were adult males.

Anyway, thought these adult males are exactly equal to us, they are also little babies who must be cared for the same as infants.

You would feel really scared too if there was a war in your country, or you were poor, and so you would flee to somewhere else to have other people give you free everything, right?

I mean, I know most of our readers are men in their teens to their thirties – you would totally do the same, wouldn’t you?

I mean, the thought of an open war in your country against your enemies doesn’t set off a Led Zeppelin riff in your brain, does it?

It makes you feel scared and want to flee, right?

Even if you wouldn’t flee like a coward and then start making demands of another country, it doesn’t matter, they are still just as equal to you because of the hatred, and slavery or whatever.

Also, some died at sea.

New York Times:

At least 150 people are believed to have drowned off western Libya after a fishing boat carrying migrants sank in the Mediterranean, Libyan and international relief officials said on Friday.

If confirmed, the death toll on Thursday would be among the highest this summer for refugees and migrants trying to reach Europe from North Africa.

Jamal Naji Zubia, a spokesman for the Tripoli-based government, said that the boat had sunk off the city of Zuwarah on Thursday. The city is a frequent departure point for migrants and refugees trying to make the Mediterranean crossing, often in packed fishing boats or rubber dinghies.

I can’t find an article which says how far the boat was from the Libyan shore, but bodies were washing ashore hours later, meaning it couldn’t have been more than a couple of miles out when the boat sank.

Which some sick people might think is kinda funny.

We need to do something.

Maybe build them a bridge.
