The German government will sharply raise its forecast for the number of asylum-seekers expected to arrive this year to a record-breaking 750,000, coalition sources said on Tuesday.
The increase, from a previous estimate of 450,000, is the latest sign of how a huge influx of migrants and refugees, many fleeing war and poverty in Africa and the Middle East, is straining the European Union’s ability to cope.
“The situation is extremely unsatisfying,” Chancellor Angela Merkel told ZDF television on Sunday, referring to the disproportionate number of refugees that Germany has taken in compared to many of its EU partners. “We need a common European asylum policy.”
After Merkel warned that the number of refugees will be far higher than expected, sources in her coalition told Reuters that the asylum-seeker forecast would probably be formally raised on Wednesday to a range of 650,000-750,000.
Thomas Oppermann, parliamentary leader of the center-left Social Democrats, the junior coalition partner, said he expects 700,000 to 800,000 arrivals this year.

I just returned from Germany. Everywhere I went in major towns, I saw perversion (Gay Pride parade) disgustion (Somalis and Turkish Moslems with their UGLY covered cow females) and self-destruction (the smokers and tattoos on some of the ugliest bodies, all dressed like the sluts and tramps of lard-butt America- jeans, short shorts, t’shirts, flip-flops. I have not been in the Fatherland in 30 years. I saw such beauty, and longed for the days of Trachten, and beautiful blond Madchens, and stalwart Burgers in their suits. But I will never go there again. Germany is all but dead. Dream about your Fuhrer state, DS faithful. There are not enough serious people to save Deutschland from her own imposed genocide. It was seriously depressing over there. I was in Germany last year for just over a month. You obviously went to the wrong places if you only saw degeneracy. We stayed in Bad Reichenhall, Freiburg, Mainz, Würzburg and Wiesbaden. Even though we saw plenty of filth, we also saw plenty of German people, particularly in the south, as traditional as they ever were. Of course Berlin and Frankfurt am Main are overran with vermin however there are still great places to visit where the Deutsche Geist is strong.
I would never write Germany off. They will return as the light of nations, however it will take a lot more before enough people stand up.

I’ve never been to Germany but I’m certain that we must never write her off. For some reason the Germans possessed a wisdom and strength the Americans and Brits lacked and it’s due to our folly that we’re in this hell. There’s hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Germans who vacation on the Croatian coast every year. There is something different about these people. When you are close to them you just feel weird. When I see German families, all smiles, walking their children along the riviera. Honestly, no tourists act like them. I can’t explain it to be honest, but there is something in the blood and spirit that is natural to these people that makes them seem greater than all others. I don’t know if this still exists, but when I lived in Europe (a decade+ after the Wall came down) there was a pretty noticeable difference between people in the West and people from the East.
