New Zealand: Kim Dotcom Loses Another Extradition Appeal

If you’re a fat guy, and you don’t have any interest in getting less fat, you need to be super rich and a criminal. Also, don’t wear anything but tracksuits. That is the only way you are going to get any pussy.

New Zealand probably wasn’t the best choice for asylum, big guy.

Shoulda went to a country that hates America.

But I guess even Cambodia folded on copyright and extradited Anakata.

Jews take their copyright infringement more seriously than anti-Semitism.

Or I guess they view “intellectual property” violation as a form of anti-Semitism.

Internet entrepreneur and Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom can be extradited to the United States to face racketeering and criminal copyright charges, New Zealand’s Court of Appeal ruled on Thursday.

It upheld a lower court ruling in 2017 that the extradition could take place, and set the stage for Dotcom’s final appeal to the Supreme Court, the country’s highest judicial body.

The six-year legal saga is widely seen as a test for how far the United States can reach globally to apply American firms’ intellectual property rights.

“My legal team are confident that the Supreme Court will hear the appeal given there are such significant legal issues at stake,” Dotcom said in a statement.

Yeah, I think they will.

But I don’t think they’ll rule in your favor.

U.S. authorities say Dotcom and three co-accused Megaupload executives cost film studios and record companies more than $500 million and generated more than $175 million in revenue by encouraging paying users to store and share copyrighted material.

The Court of Appeal said the United States had disclosed “a clear prima facie case that the appellants conspired to, and did, breach copyright wilfully and on a large scale, for their commercial gain.

Dotcom disputed the court’s interpretation of copyright provisions.

“The precedent set is concerning and has ramifications in New Zealand outside my case,” he said.

Dotcom’s lawyers have argued in previous court cases that copyright infringement is not a criminal offense in New Zealand and that there was not enough evidence that Dotcom and other Megaupload executives conspired to commit a crime.

If the Supreme Court accepts the case, it would be the final appeal through the courts for Dotcom.

German-born Dotcom, who has New Zealand residency, became well known for his lavish lifestyle as much as his computer skills.

He used to post photographs of himself with cars and vanity license plates such as “GOD” and “GUILTY”, shooting an assault rifle and flying around the world in his private jet.

Dozens of black-clad police raided Dotcom’s mansion in 2012, breaking him out of a safe room and confiscating millions of dollars in cash and property, including a fleet of luxury cars, computers and art work.

Kim should have sought asylum with the other Kim.

They could have, you know, had lavish meals together.

Actually, Iceland wouldn’t have been a bad more normalish choice.

It’s cold, but he’s got insulation.

At this point, this is as much about politics as it is about copyright.

You’ll remember Kim said he had evidence that Seth Rich was in fact the leaker of the DNC server to Wikileaks, which the US government still technically holds was a Russian conspiracy (thought they don’t talk about it much now).

I wish Kim only the best.

He’s a great guy.

If he didn’t have the boot of ZOG on his throat, he’d be doing a lot more great stuff.

After his Seth Rich tweets were censored, he talked about building a new Twitter. Which if all his money hadn’t been stolen, he would have the resources to do.

Extraditing him to the US would do nothing but prove we are a ZOG evil empire, who reserves a right to steal the freedoms of people all over the world.

It’s a shame Trump has had to use this “intellectual property” talmudism to attack China on the trade thing. Because this really is the stupidest nonsense.
