“I am not a nigger lover.” –Abraham Lincoln, world’s most famous nigger lover

This just shows that politics are 100% personality. Donald Trump hasn’t done anything, he doesn’t appear to be planning on doing anything, but he sure is funny.

The Hill:

A majority of Republicans say President Trump is a better leader than former President Lincoln, according to this week’s Economist/YouGov weekly tracking poll.

Fifty-three percent of Republicans said Trump was a better president than Lincoln, while 47 percent chose the Civil War-era leader.

Lincoln still overwhelmingly beats Trump among all Americans, 75 percent to 25 percent, with the vast majority of Democrats and independents choosing the former president.

While impeachment and other controversies surrounding Trump continue to dominate headlines, polls have shown the president maintaining a strong approval rating among Republicans.

The Economist/YouGov poll found that 87 percent of those in the GOP either somewhat or strongly approve of the job he’s doing as president.

Trump in the past has boasted of his approval rating within the party, comparing his popularity to Lincoln’s.

“You know, a poll just came out that I am the most popular person in the history of the Republican Party,” Trump said in a July interview with The Sun newspaper in the U.K.

“Beating Lincoln,” Trump added, without clarifying to which poll he was referring. “I beat our Honest Abe.”

Trump is very popular, but this is a weird question that seems to be designed to frame Republicans as nigger-haters who are going against the history’s greatest nigger-respecter.

I can’t really imagine that Abraham Lincoln is all that popular. They brainwash you in school with this stuff, but the fact is, the guy started what was at the time one of the biggest wars in European history and then said he did it because he really loves black people.

Certainly, people in the South do not think fondly of Lincoln, who invaded and slaughtered them, but people in the North shouldn’t be too fond of him either, as we were the ones sent to invade and be slaughtered.

Average people – especially Northerners – don’t really know anything about him, it was so long ago. He is just “the slavery guy.” So the question is basically “do you prefer Donald Trump’s tweets to black people being freed from slavery?”
