Six days before Trump wins the Presidency of the United States, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years.

For those who are not American and don’t know the context here, they’re the greatest example of an underdog in American sports. They also have a fandom that is genuinely enthusiastic about them every year, even though they never win anything.

Baseball itself is symbolic of old America; once the “American pastime,” it has now been overshadowed in popularity by the Negro-dominated sports of basketball and football.

It cannot be denied: this is a very good omen.

Praise kek.
